1. Yen Stream – Perfume Pagoda, Vietnam

Yen Stream lies in the complex that includes Perfume Pagoda in Huong Son Commune, My Duc district, Hanoi. Huong Son is beautiful in all four seasons, but it reaches its glory in autumn, instead of in festivities season. At this time of the year, the whole stream is covered with pink and purple water lily while two sides are full of “tram” trees. During a visit to Yen stream in mid-September, I could truly see the beauty of nature in quietness. Noise disappeared, making way for tranquility. At that time, I photographed this photo to memorize it and to share with my friends, most of whom have visited Perfume Pagoda every year but have not had the opportunity to watch Yen Stream in autumn.

2. Ban Gioc Waterfall, Cao Bang, Vietnam

This picture was taken in the upper part of the waterfall. The ray of sunlight covered the trees and it was the most beautiful moment of autumn. I felt lucky to capture it. People tend to take horizontal landscape picture, but I wanted to capture both the waterfall and the mountain, the softness and the hardness to express the yin and yang.

This picture was taken from the top of Cao Dat building in the 5th District, in a dusk afternoon. From this high position, I tried to zoom in to convey in detail the image of Vo Van Kiet Boulevard in the lights and the S-shaped Tao Hu canal. Saigon is a best places for your family holidays

5. Mu Cang Chai, Vietnam

The picture was taken in an excursion also with a purpose of doing a travel survey in the trip to Ba Be – Thac Bac – Suoi Giang – Mu Cang Chai. This was my first time to Mu Chang Chai, to trek on Khau Pha pass. Despite I had enjoyed the beauty of Eastern and North Western areas like Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Sapa, Bac Ha, Hoang Su Phi, Cao Bang, I still felt stunned at the scenery here. Tu Le field, La Pan Tan valley are just like heaven. I took pictures of Che Cu Nha, one of three most beautiful terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai. I chose the title “Colours” to dedicate to all ethnic minorities that have worked hard to create such colourful scenery.
