1. My Son

My Son Sanctuary

 

Located in the central of Vietnam, My Son Sanctuary is belongs to Duy Phu village, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam Province and it is also very close to Hoi An town as well as Danang  city. It is a complex of Hindu temples constructed by the kings of Champa. The temples surrounded by two mountain ridges. The place used to be a place for religious ceremony of the kings during the Champa dynasties.

1. Angkor Wat – Siem Reap – Cambodia

Angkor has abandoned of temples. Under the Khmer Empire, it is used to be the capital of Cambodia between 9th and 15th centuries. The Angkor Complex included the top famous temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Each of the temples has its own sizes and different shapes but all has Khmer architecture.

2. The Bagan Temple – Burma

Bagan is now part of a small city in Mandalay. The place used to be well – known under name Pagan, it is the capital Kindom of Pagan from the 9th to the 13th centuries. Located in an area of only 70km2, the place its self includes hundreds or pagodas, monasteries and temples. Most of those were constructed from the 11th to the 13th centuries. This marked the starting of traditional Buddhism of Myanma.

3. The Historical Park Ayutthaya – Thailand

The historical park is located inside the old city of Ayutthaya. The city Ayutthaya was founded by the King Ramathibodi in the year 1350 then became the capital of Thailand until 1767 when  it was destruction by the Burmese Army.

4. Shwedagon Pagoda – Burma

Shwedagon Pagoda was formally known as Great Dragon Pagoda or Golden Pagoda. The pagoda is located on the hill of Singuttara which clients can admire the great view of the whole Yangon city.

5. Luang Prabang – Laos

Luang Prabang is a city in Laos with a history of over 1300 years and is a UNESCO Heritage Site. There are many temples, tombs with unique architectural designs. The two most beautiful temples are Wat Xienghtong and Watmay. The most well-known pagoda is Wat Visounarath.

Laos was recognized as UNESCO Heritage Site with a history of more than 1300 years. Luang Prabang is the capital city of Laos which has many tombs, temples with original architectural designs. The two famous temples in Luang Prabang are Watmay and Wat Xieng Thong. And Wat Visounarath is well-known as most famous pagoda.

6. Chiang Mai – Thailand

There are so many temples and pagodas around Chiang Mai – Thailand that attract many tourists from all over the world. The most famous pagodas and temples are: Wat Chang Long, What Suan Dok, Doi Suthep, Wat Chiang Mai and Wat Para Sinh.

 

7. Ubud – Indonesia

Ubud is a charming town located on the famous Bali Island, Indonesia. The place attract thousands of tourist per year from all over the world. The most well –known pagodas and temples are: Ubud Place, Pura Marajan, Pura Desa Ubud Temple, Pura Tamna Saraswati temple…
